At the end of May, The Lord-Lieutenant for the Royal County of Berkshire, Mr Andrew Try, hosted an unforgettable Garden Party at The Great House, Coppa Club – a heartfelt celebration of Berkshire’s unsung heroes.
These incredible individuals, often working quietly behind the scenes, are the lifeblood of our communities – giving their time, energy, and care without ever seeking the spotlight.
We were honoured that our very own Lynne Shipton, Founder, and Stephen Newport, Treasurer, were invited to attend this special event in recognition of their outstanding dedication and service.
This inaugural gathering brought the stories of many inspiring individuals to the forefront, shining a light on those whose selfless acts strengthen the very fabric of life in Berkshire. Even the rain couldn’t dampen the spirit of the day – a joyful, uplifting tribute to kindness, commitment, and community.
