On Tuesday 15th October, Jayne, the Ladies’ Captain of East Berkshire Golf Club, organized a fantastic charity event in support of Chemogiftbags, and we were honoured to be the chosen cause!
In a show of solidarity all competitors embraced the pink theme, wearing something pink to light up the course with both colour and community spirit.
A special thanks goes to Lucy for her help in organising the event with Jayne and to the club’s golf professional, who generously gave up his time to challenge the members—making the day even more exciting!
To everyone who worked behind the scenes and participated in any capacity, we extend our heartfelt gratitude. Your collective effort helped make this day truly memorable, and the amazing sum of £1,300 raised will greatly assist in providing our “hug in a bag” care packages to those undergoing chemotherapy across the Thames Valley.
