On Saturday 4th October 2025, we celebrated a truly special milestone — ten years of Chemogiftbags — with our Black- Tie Gala at Sindlesham Court. The evening brought together friends, supporters, volunteers, and sponsors, all united by one cause: to help support people undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer across the Thames Valley.
We were deeply honoured to welcome Mr Andrew Try, the Lord Lieutenant of Berkshire, whose presence made the night even more meaningful. His support, along with the kind words shared throughout the evening, reminded us just how far the charity has come since its beginnings in 2015.
Guests enjoyed a wonderful three-course meal, excellent company, and first-class entertainment from Central Avenue Band, a ten-piece band who kept the dance floor full from the moment they started. Their energy and talent made the evening unforgettable.
The atmosphere was warm, elegant, and full of celebration — not just of what we’ve achieved, but of the people who make it possible. Our volunteers, ambassadors, trustees, and supporters each play a vital role in ensuring that Chemogiftbags continues to make a difference, one bag at a time.
As we look ahead to the next chapter, we want to thank everyone who joined us for such a memorable evening. Your continued belief in our mission keeps us going — and together, we’ll carry on delivering comfort, kindness, and care to those who need it most.
